Translations over the Internet are a sensitive issue. It is often the case that translation services are offered at very low prices and in little time. However, these alluring offers have to be considered with great care. Some Internet translation agencies may split your text among different translators, some of whom may not be certified. They work at cheap rates, because they live in the country of the target language, which is their mother tongue; however, they may have severe difficulties regarding the source language of the text. This has negative effects on your translation. Split translations lack continuity when it comes to terminology, stylistics and expression. As a consequence, be aware of the price-performance ratio.

For my part, I guarantee that translations are done by one and the same person, more precisely by me. This approach ensures optimum text flow, diction, consistency and fluency. Moreover, I refrain from using any translating programs and do the job word by word in "old school" style. My strenght is the rapid completion of urgent translations, if necessary also "over night".

Translations are charged based on a payment per line or, if applicable, on an hourly rate. When it comes to longer texts, the rate per line or hour decreases, which results into a lower total price.
